Bookmark and Share

Now this is random -Fair Exchange, a Uk based competitions and offers site are offering anybody and everybody a chance to win 100,000 milk chocolate Cadbury buttons, and as crazy as it sounds, its actually a genuine competition.

Check it out see what you think....... have you ever seen a competition like this before?

I registered for Fair Exchange two weeks ago when I came across a competition to win 1000 Cadbury Creme Eggs!!

This competition is also available directly from the site along with loads of other cool offers and random competitions. This is definately a must for all those chocolate lovers out there - my missus is definately a fan!

With so many of these sorts of sites available a couple of instant concerns prop up which I would imagine is faily uniformed like.....

A) Will I catually get anything back from them?
B) Will I get hammered with SPAM

By registering I got some fair points, dont really know what to do with them, other than to use them when playing their online games, which is fair enough I guess. But I think the best thing is, since registering with this competitions site, I havent been spammed, so big thumbs up on that front!

Dont you just love a good find? I certainly do - especially when its really random - something different and something for nothing.

Robber gives up the game for a cup of tea

An armed robber is being quizzed by police in Cesky Tesin, northern Czech Republic after he gave up his attempt to raid a shop after a worker offered him a "nice cup of tea and a piece of cake".

The raider, armed with a gun, stormed the supermarket and demanded that shop assistant Marketa Vachova hand over cash, according to Ananova.

Ms Vachova told the site that she thought he "seemed like a nice young man", even though a Spiderman mask covered the robber's face."I asked him why he was doing this and we got talking," she explained."There was no one else in the shop so I guess he relaxed a bit, and in the end he apologised," continued the 59-year-old.

Ms Vachova then told the man he could have a cup of tea and a slice of cake while they talked, which gave the thief the incentive to give up on his crime.

However, police are still searching for the criminal, and have said he faces ten years in prison for attempted robbery.Last month, 66-year-old grandmother Mary Chamberlain chased and arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of raiding her local KFC in Portland, Oregon.

Wolf offers friendship to goat

And the winner of the most unlikely sweethearts competition goes too......... a wolf and a goat

A Chinese zoo have reported that a goat and a wolf have become best friends after being accidentally introduced at White Tower Park zoo in Nanchong City.

Keeper Mr Xu told the paper that the wolf bolted from its unlocked cage when a goat was let out to eat and began howling at the frightened animal."The goat was so scared you could see her legs shaking," he explained.Mr Xu separated the two animals but later noticed over the next two nights they "exchanged howls and baas".

After five days, he decided to put the traditional predator and prey in the same cage."We thought, since they so much wanted to, why not put them together? It's really rare for a wolf and a goat to be so close," he said.

The two are now inseparable and Mr Xu claims that if the goat goes away, the wolf will howl until she returns.Last month, Stuff.co.nz reported that a Great Dane and a tiny Tibetan kitten have stunned locals in Auckland by becoming close pals.

Another great random story.

Man quizzed over hedgehog games

Another great story from around the world - surely there should be a competition for the most random behaviour.

It could quite possibly win the most laughable weapon competition, but believe it or not, a man has been arrested in New Zealand for using a hedgehog as a missile in small town Whakatane, Bay of plenty.

William Singalargh was arrested after allegedly hurling the spiky creature at a 15-year-old boy, and senior sergeant Bruce Jenkins of teh local police department told the paper: "It hit the victim in the leg, causing a large, red welt and several puncture marks."

He was arrested shortly afterwards for assault with a weapon, namely the hedgehog."The 27-year-old could face a five-year jail sentence if he is convicted of the charge on April 17th for public abuse and wildlife endangerment.Police could not confirm to the paper if alcohol played a part in the incident or if the hedgehog was dead or alive at the time of the alleged incident - although it was dead when later collected as evidence.

What I want to know is......what did the hedgehog do to deserve such punishment?!?
